Which credit cards are good credit cards?

My husband and I dont have any credit cards because he says that it will get us in debt. Is there any credit cards that have no annual fees, good interest rates? I have no idea what the difference in credit cards is. Can someone give some advice.

Which credit cards are good credit cards?

I really like CitiCards and Chase - but there are many cards out there that don%26#039;t have annual fees. You would have to do the research by asking them.

One thing I can say about creditcards getting you into debt is this... That%26#039;s not true... The cards are there as a tool or a weapon... it all depends on how the person wealding it decides to use it. People get THEMSELVES into debt. When they don%26#039;t use the credit cards in the way they are really ment to be used it causes problems down the line. Credit cards were created originally for the purpose to be able to purchase items without having to carry around a load of cash with you.

They were ment to be paid in full at the end of each month. Then someone in the credit business got the great %26quot;idea%26quot; that they could cash in big on the interest if they let people not pay it all back right away and then the credit cards evolved into revolving debt cards. So people started using them in the Wrong way. They started purchaseing things they REALLY COULDN%26#039;T afford, and then just paying the minimums each month... (BAD DEAL)

This kinds of situation leads people to feel as though they can get what they want and not have to worry about affording it... they tend to think %26quot;I can always pay it off later%26quot; this how People Get themselves into debt.

Getting a card isn%26#039;t a horrible thing... it%26#039;s how YOU use it that can be disasterous. Good luck to you!! I wish you the best and hope you will only purchase things that you can pay off 100% when the bill comes. If you %26amp; your hubby keep the attitude that the card is only a safe way for you to use your CASH that%26#039;s in the bank - and you pay that balance off in FULL every month, You will never get into debt with them. :)

Mam, I think you should listen to your husband. He is right, you are going into debt if you have one.

First, try getting some basic background from sites like bankrate.com or debtsmart.com. Both these sites offer basic credit information as well as credit card search engines that will allow you to find the card that meets your needs. For example, you can search by low interest rate cards, no annual fee cards, balance transfer cards with low introductory rate, etc. Start out by applying for only one or two cards in your name, otherwise you may have trouble down the line with too many cards open and if you can%26#039;t control yourself, too much debt.
