I%26#039;m talking specifically about the time between when you file and when your debt is discharged.

nope!!!

Do you have to pay your credit card bills DURING a bankruptcy?

Your banruptcy lawyer should answer this question my understanding is that NO once you file the paperwork everything stops. That doesn%26#039;t mean they will stop calling you. They will call you and lie to you and tell you you should pay while in bankruptcy.

Do you have to pay your credit card bills DURING a bankruptcy?

Absolutely NOT... Don%26#039;t pay them at all or else you are reaffirming the debt. That would mean you would have an empty bankruptcy when you are done because you would legally have to pay them if you pay them once you file and your bankruptcy would be null and void. Once you file its a stay and they cannot legally call you or collect or else they are in violation of the law and its serious trouble for them. good luck
